New Ferry service Iquitos, Peru/ Leticia, Colombia

If you are travelling between Peru and Colombia, there are several modes of transport, here are a list of options, the newest being the first. Ferry Cruise to Leticia/Iquitos Unfortunately, it does not stop in Oran so we cannot use it to transfer our guests.

Caution, these border services are not reliable. Do not plan religiously, anything can happen

This option has two decks ,prices vary accordingly. Trip takes up to 8 hours and makes five stops:Indiana, Pebas, San Pablo, Caballo Cocha and Santa Rosa The smaller speedboat companies are: Golfinho Transports Transtur Transtur is the same company as Ferry Amazonas Both of these companies work with us transferring our clients to and from Oran from the Border of Colombia. It takes a bit of extra coordination , but we commonly pickup people from the village of Oran when they are coming from Leticia. As for the slow boats, if you value your life, you will refrain from travelling on them. The crew rarely has a care for the integrity of their passengers or cargo. A common infraction is loading up double capacity to cash in on a single trip. Needless to say, several of those boats have sunk in the past few years.I personally have traveled on the slow boats for years and it is not something I recommend for everyone  If you would like to see how we can organize your trip so you can stop in Oran, let us know We do it all the time
